Take a moment and think about your life.
Who believed in you before you believed in yourself?
Who encouraged you when you wanted to quit?
Who challenged you to think differently?
Who inspired you to dream a little bigger?
Who helped shape the person you are today?
Every one of us has someone.
Sometimes it was a parent.
Sometimes a teacher.
A coach.
A pastor.
A grandparent.
A friend.
A mentor.
An author.
Sometimes it was someone we only met once.
Sometimes it was someone we never met at all.
Perhaps it was a book that arrived at exactly the right moment.
Perhaps it was a simple conversation that changed the direction of your life forever.
Perhaps it was someone who saw something in you that you couldn't yet see in yourself.
That person was your Superconductor.
A Superconductor isn't necessarily the richest person, the smartest person, or the most famous person.
A Superconductor is someone whose ideas, encouragement, wisdom, or example created a ripple that continues to spread through your life.
Think about that for a moment.
If someone inspired you...
You probably shared that inspiration with someone else.
Maybe you encouraged your children because someone once encouraged you.
Maybe you became a better leader because a mentor believed in you.
Maybe you started a business because an author challenged you to think differently.
Maybe you chose hope instead of fear because someone spoke life into your circumstances.
The ripple continued.
And it is still growing.
That is the remarkable thing about positive influence.
It rarely stops with one person.
One encouraging word can strengthen someone who later strengthens dozens more.
One teacher can influence thousands of students over a lifetime.
One parent can shape generations.
One author can inspire millions of readers, who in turn inspire millions more.
The original Superconductor may never know how far their ripple traveled.
But it traveled nonetheless.
Now ask yourself another question.
Whose Superconductor are you becoming?
Every day, someone is watching.
Someone is listening.
Someone needs encouragement.
Someone needs hope.
Someone needs wisdom.
Someone simply needs another person to believe in them.
You don't have to write a bestselling book.
You don't have to stand on a stage.
You don't have to become famous.
You simply have to care enough to leave people better than you found them.
Every conversation matters.
Every act of kindness matters.
Every lesson matters.
Every example matters.
Because every life you touch has the potential to touch countless others.
That is how the world changes.
One person.
One idea.
One act of kindness.
One ripple at a time.
I'd love to hear from you.
Who was the Superconductor in your life?
Who inspired you?
Who challenged you?
Who helped you become the person you are today?
Share their name and your story in the comments. Your story may become the encouragement someone else needs today.
A Personal Note
As I finish writing my upcoming book, The Superconductors, I find myself reflecting on the remarkable people who shaped my own journey. Some I knew personally. Others became mentors through the pages of their books. Each left a lasting imprint on my life and helped me become the person I am today.
In the final chapter of the book, I'll share the names and stories of the individuals who became my Superconductors—and why their influence continues to ripple through everything I write, teach, and create.
Until then, perhaps the most important question isn't Who was your Superconductor?
It's this:
Whose life will be better because you were part of it?
